By accessing and using Boomerang ("the Software"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this software.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Boomerang, an API testing tool and browser extension developed by Boomerang ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our Software, you agree to these Terms.

You agree to use the Software only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
• Use the Software to test APIs without proper authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Software to transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Software or servers
• Use the Software for load testing or stress testing without permission

The Software and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Boomerang and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

License Grant

• Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal or business purposes
• No Ownership: You do not own the Software or any part of it. You only have a license to use it
• No Redistribution: You may not sell, rent, lease, distribute, or sublicense the Software to others
• No Modification: You may not modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software

Your Content

• You retain ownership of any content you create using the Software
• You grant us a limited license to use feedback you provide
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to test any APIs

Our Rights

• We retain all rights to the Software and its code
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software
• Boomerang trademarks and logos are our property
• We reserve the right to revoke your license at any time

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Software will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The results obtained from using the Software will be accurate or reliable

IN NO EVENT SHALL BOOMERANG BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

Bugs and Defects: Boomerang is provided "as is" and may contain bugs, defects, or errors. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or issues arising from bugs, defects, or errors in the Software, including but not limited to data loss, incorrect API responses, or service interruptions.

Data Loss: All data is stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or deletion that may occur while using the Software. You are responsible for backing up your data and ensuring its security.

API Testing Risks: When testing APIs using our Software, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks including potential data loss, system damage, or other consequences. We are not liable for any damages resulting from API testing activities.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Boomerang and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

• Your use of the Software
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any unauthorized access to or use of the Software

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Software after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
